MQS 495 - Working Range 490^oC to 700^oC-

The salt similar to MQS 541 but having lower melting point specially suitable for quenching Secondary hardening of High Speed Steels. The salt is very hygroscopic.

DENSITY : at 600^oC - 65 kgs/cu.ft.approx.

MQS 541 - Working Range 540^oC to 700^oC -

Specially developed for quenching High Speed Steels and hot work die steels. Also used For secondary hardening of High Speed Steel tools and for tempering.

DENSITY: at 600^oC - 55 kgs./cu.ft. approx.
