MNC 661- Working Range 650oC to 950oC ( 1000oC if covered with Economiser) Neutral Salt for hardening tools steels and selectively carburized steels, Also used for preheating hot die steel and High Speed Steel prior to hardening from MHS 971 Salt. Sparingly soluble in cold water and excellent fluidity even at lower working temperature. It is recommended to use with Regenerator- A to maintain the bath in non-decarburising condition. Also used for preparing initial melts of "Metacarb" Carburizing bath.
