METAMIX : Specially developed salt to be used along with Sodium Cyanide in equal proportion to make an excellent carburizing bath. For preparing fresh bath use 40 % MNC-661 40% METAMIX and 20% Sodium Cyanide. For further regular addition use METAMIX and Sodium Cyanide in equal proportion. The Cyanide content of the bath should be between 18 % to 20% to get good results. There is a considerable savings if METAMITX is used along with Sodium Cyanide to give the best results as a liquid carburizing salt.
